What is this game called?

please help me remember the name of this game
A few years ago I got addicted to an online game that was like a combination of shuffleboard & chess ("shufflechess"?) where two players were matched against each other over a chessboard, and each team had two rows (if I remember correctly) of discs, which had to be shoved across the board, ricocheting off of other discs & even the back wall of the playing area, and I think the winner was the guy who ended up with more of his discs covering the other players front two rows. Oh, and you couldn't directly dislodge a competitor's discs from your rows, as your shot had to originate from the third row, so you'd have to go the length of the board, off the back wall and back to try and unseat a competitor's piece. Eventually the game moved to a "pay to play" model, and I stopped playing it, met my wife, settled down, got a job, etc. But prior to all that I just played the game 24 hours a day, and am curious to see if another version exists online somewhere.

I saw a physical version of this at an upscale local toy store, with cues, etc. You might also check out Crokinole, and Tumblin' Dice.
