What are the opinions of your friends, family and co-workers regarding the latest troubles in the Occupied Territories, Israel and Lebanon? How do they characterize the situation?

I'm curious to see if people around the world find that their friends, co-workers and family members have similar opinions to the politicians from their countries.

Note: This is not about what you think is right, merely to get a feel for what public opinion is regarding the current happenings there.

My friends and I live in South Texas, USA, although we hail from different places originally. Our opinions range from "Meh, what troubles?" to "This shit is Bananas." I tend towards the "this is an important salvo in our trend towards global chaos, not because of the situation per se, but because of the American/British/UN response to the situation."

I live in the People's Republic of Massachusetts; people I know tend to think Israel is severely overreacting, but I doubt that's a representative American opinion.
