best ways to keep up with the best legislators for non social media user

What are the best avenues for keeping up with the best legislators for someone who has no social media accounts? Also: who are your favorite legislators to follow?

I do not have an account on Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media network. I know some of those pages are somewhat open and public, but it would be nice to be able to view things without login prompts.

I do already know about legislators' press release pages at their websites; I'm looking for any other pointers.

Also: who do you like to follow?

This question was prompted by wanting to see AOC's Instagram video this week. I'd like to keep a closer eye on things she has to say, and probably Tammy Baldwin and Tammy Duckworth. Who else do you follow?

AOC went back on BlueSky today and there are some other politicians on there. You do not need a login to view what she writes on there.

Sen Ron Wyden is also on BlueSky and has been there for a while.

You can put BlueSky profiles as sources in an RSS reader and keep up with them that way.

Newly-elected U.S. Senator Andy Kim (42 years old) has some very encouraging comments. I use Nitter to read his posts on the Musk site without providing engagement numbers.

U.S. Representative Maxwell Frost (27 years old/Gen Z) - detailed social media profile on Legistorm.

U.S. Representative Robert Garcia (47 years old) - Legistorm profile. Garcia hosted a panel at San Diego Comic-Con last year to start the Congressional Popular Arts Caucus. He also took the oath of office with a copy of Superman #1 from the National Archives.

See whether your legislators of choice have an email newsletter list for their constituents — my representative has the Hank Herald and it's been really helpful for figuring out what he's been working on locally.
