Asking for a Boob-Owner: Are you interested and qualified to update this aging but useful bra-fitting post? How can I find a great fitting place near me?

(I am old. maybe consider TikTok and Youtube for the yoots.)

r/ABraThatFits (About) is basically that post except as a living community.

If your profile location is accurate, you don't mind a drive, and you have $$$ for an excellent bra or two, I recommend Sol in Denver. Ignore the "girl" part of the url, it's def for all adult people with boobs.

A lot of the content in the other post is still great!

One way to find good fittings is to look for stockists of the major UK brands near you. A boutique carrying Panache or Fantasie is likely to be better at fitting than a VS or department store with limited sizes.

abrathatfits is also great on reddit and is a great resource if you want to size yourself. A lot of people have success measuring themselves and trying on bras via online shopping.

The resource that most helped me find the right bras for me is actually a TikTok account. Sorry! She works as a bra fitter but her information about not just sizing but the right bra for your boob SHAPE was what changed my life. Her account is @madisonanneh and she has a few playlists (collections of videos) that might be worth going through.

(In my case, I always assumed because I have full breasts that I needed full coverage, but in fact my boob shape - fuller at the bottom, when I spill over I tend to do so in the center - does best in balconette and demi bras with a high center gore. I will admit to not spending a lot of time in that Reddit but I had never seen any sizing guides that did as good a job connecting bra type to boob shape as that TikTok creator.)

You know, I just looked through that creator’s linktree and looks like she pulled together a Bra Resource Guide if you’re more into text-based guidance. There are still some embedded TikTok videos but also lots of texts and images, so maybe you’d prefer to peruse that way.
