Anybody got a peanut man ?

Looking for a new source of animal grade peanuts in shell, for bird (and squirrel) feeding, that can deliver in the Seattle metro area, that isn't Tractor Supply.

Trying to avoid spending at the aforementioned store anymore. The local petsmart are pretty spotty on inventory of peanuts in shell, and on the expensive side. I have about 8-12 jays that will empty a peanut ring in 60 seconds, so bulk is better =p

Wakefield Peanut Co?
Usually I feed filberts because I'm in Oregon and they are super easy to find. Plus peanuts aren't super great for wildlife. Better than corn, of course. I think the filberts have a slightly harder shell so they last longer when buried. And then your neighbors get a bunch of bird-planted hazel trees!

Is there a Wilco anywhere near you? They are nice folk, and employee-owned. I live in Bremerton, and we got both TS and Wilco at roughly the same time. Wilco opened with several racks of NRA-branded merch right up front, so I noped on out and never went back.
Anyway - Wilco few, IMO.

I have no idea about delivery, but Winco in portland has bulk (50 lb sack) in-shell peanuts for reasonable prices

Dissenting voice, so very sorry to pipe up, but a diet high in peanuts causes fragile eggshells in the jays and bone fractures in both the jays and the squirrels because it is so very deficient in calcium. I feed peanuts to the local birds but I stop at least a month before egg laying season and I never give them as much as they want. I only feed peanuts, as a supplement, in the colder months.

I attempted to feed peanuts during the summer by supplementing with calcium rich food, but they only took the peanuts, so I stopped providing them altogether.

I would guess that avoiding the aforementioned store is because of eliminating its DEI roles.

Wild Birds Unlimited is our current go-to for birdseed (and yes, they carry unshelled peanuts). Going by their store locator, there's a few in the Seattle metro area.
