This designer makes very nice realistic bird illustrations, and this one does very nice minimalist ones. The site will let you order most designs on a t-shirt.

I've always been impressed by the shirts for the Festival for the Eno (river, in North Carolina).

6dollarshirts has quite a few designs, many are wacky and/or captioned but you can find some un-opinionated animal designs if you scroll.

Salty Raven! Small, local, has birds. I adore my three raven shirt. And the artist/owner is super nice and very cool; I have met her a couple of times.

Also FLOAT which has a changing set of tshirt designs to support different organizations each week. Looks like it's wolves at the moment. If you get on their email list you get notifications when it's a new design.

I found this great web site, Cognitive Surplus, that specializes in science-themed gifts - notebooks, kitchenware, decor, art, and t-shirts.

Here's their "botany" t-shirts. Their "biology" collection is a bit bigger.

Cognitive Surplus is a very dangerous website. I fear clicking on it or else I will spend too much money there.

One of my favorite purveyors of stuff: Uncommon Goods. Link goes to their t-shirts.
