How do disconnect my dishwasher drain pipe?

My dishwasher won’t drain and I’m pretty sure there’s food in there somewhere
However I can’t seem to figure out how to detach the drain pipe from my sink
There’s this weird rubber thing but it doesn’t seem removable at all

I’m not a plumber but I’ve done this more than once with my own dishwashers.
Do you see the metal strapping on the rubber at the end of the white flexi pipe? It’s got a screw that loosens and tightens the strapping. When you loosen it you can pull the rubber bit off the metal bit.
When I’ve had to clear the pipe I had to pull the dishwasher out and unhook both ends of the the drain pipe.
But before you do anything, can you describe the symptoms you’re seeing? Maybe there’s something else going on and we can save you some time with other diagnoses

Thanks! I’ve loosened the metal thing all the way but still the rubber thing seems fixed.
I’m trying to unscrew it clockwise but the hose gets all twisted
The dishwasher won’t drain. When I fill it with boiling water, I can feel part of the pipe get warm so I think the pump is working

You just need to pull on the rubber part to get it off, it just sits on a nipple. It doesn't unscrew. It can take more force than you think it should. If it's really hard to get off, a little heat from a hair dryer will help soften that rubber up.
That said, it's unlikely that the blockage is there. It's more likely to be the dishwasher itself or closer to it. Can you see water flowing into the hose? It's clear, so if the dishwasher is draining and then getting blocked here, you should see the clear plastic hose above fill with water.

That worked! I just had to yank on the thing as you said.
Then a chopstick pushed around in there to unlodge whatever was there and I’m golden!
