A really really, really rediculously good looking faux plant thing

One of my hanging plant spots is too far out of reach for watering, what's a really good looking faux plant or something plant-ish that can go there?

I have a spot that was going to be for a plant, but sadly it is out of reach or watering for my short self. I don't trust a different watering situation as it's above an expensive sofa.

I would like something draped and textural to go there, preferably a faux succulent like string or pearls or something fern like. Or something with texture and plant-like?

A lot of faux plants seem to look too fake? Are there good ones? Is there something that would drape nicely from up there that's plant-like or textural? Something beaded? This is why I come to you, creative and shopping people of mefi.

I have plenty DIY skills and could spend around $100.

The spot in question is seen in the top corner here on the old swing arm oil lamp holder. Very opulent and antique vibes. The walls will eventually be painted.

Lean into the fake plant thing by grabbing something from the Lego Botanicals line.

Those Lego Botanicals mentioned above are pretty cool. In case you want something more realistic, IKEA sells a large variety of artificial plants that are pretty darn realistic.

I've heard great things from a very picky friend about The Sill's faux line - definitely more expensive than something like IKEA, but there are several gorgeous options that are well within your budget.

Weirdly enough, I've found some really nice fake plants at Big Lots lately, if you have one of those near you.

Not draped or fake, but non-watered:

A terrarium wouldn’t need regular watering and would be a good fit for the Victorian vibe. An air plant also wouldn’t need water and you could maybe make a drape-y mounting situation? Something like those hanging glass orbs that hold a plant?

There are no really good-looking fake plants, imo.

From what I gather, you're in the States. This place isn't--it's Canadian--but it wouldn't hurt to inquire about international shipments. They're a bit expensive, but your American dollar will certainly help. I've bought some very specialized items from there, and the quality was very good. I'm not saying everything there will be fabulous, as with any vendor, I suspect you'll have to be picky, but it's worth a look at what they've got.
