Can I use my Eufy smart plugs with my Eero router?

First, I'm not asking you good people to do any detailed research on this -- I'm just looking for a general approach regarding whom to phone or where to Google for the answers. Here's my previous post. I still have a pile of Eufy E1202 2.4 GHz smart plugs and I can't figure out how to set things up so that they'll work off my Eero 20J010001 dual band mesh router.

I wasn't successful last year with my inquiries to both Eero and Eufy customer support. Is there something I'm missing?

Is there a general approach to controlling a dual-band mesh router (maybe turning off the 5 GHz part somehow?) so that the 2.4 GHz smart plugs can be set up, and then resetting the router to behave normally? Is there a tutorial you can refer me to?

If I'm going to try one last time to lean on customer support, which of the two companies would be the most appropriate to contact? Which would be more capable of fixing this mess? Thanks in advance.

At what point in the process does it fail to work? What I'm reading is that the plugs create their own wi-fi network for setup and the app is supposed to connect to that and then set up the plug to connect to your wi-fi network using that connection, which should all be possible if you have a dual-band router.

If you want to verify that your router is broadcasting a 2.4 GHz signal, I recommend an app like WiFi Analyzer which can show what networks your phone can see on which bands. If you don't see a 2.4 GHz signal for your router's SSID (network name), then you'd want to talk to Eero support to figure out how to enable it.

Thank you for your answers. Not resolved, and I've sold the damn plugs on eBay, but I'll mark it resolved for MeFi purposes.
