Spanish Summer Home Market?

How can I learn as much as possible about the Spanish market for vacation homes: construction, project development, brokering sales, etc.?
Looking for facts, overviews, opinions, summaries, everything. Also would be interested in knowing about markets in Croatia and other locations along the Mediterranean.
Long story made short - an opportunity presented itself and I need to make myself an expert on this ASAP. (yes, I already know the markets is swamped. By the way, I live in Spain).
