If I like Kim Stanley Robinson, Arundhati Roy, and Octavia Butler, I might also like....
David Graeber and David Wengrow’s The Dawn of Everything — a book that attempts to change the course of history by re-evaluating humanity’s past.
Arkady Martine. Ann Leckie. Ted Chiang. Kiese Laymon. Alexis Pauline Gumbs. Rebecca Roanhorse.

I'm a huge KSR fan, and I also love Ursula LeGuin and Alistair Reynolds. Just re-read "House of Suns" and it never fails to blow my mind.

If nothing here floats your boat, maybe check out Literature Map. My testing of it in the past has tended to pull up good recommendations for for genres I know well. I know authors A, B, and C and they are related thematically, etc., and the tool spits out A and C when I start with B. It’s not always perfect, but it can be interesting.
