Can you Name that tune

Song stuck in my head all day, but I can't find it to listen to it. Female singer, probably early to mid 90s. Not sure of the lyrics, but want to say it's something like "[Baby | Billy | Aidy] don't you lie to me" your something is as blank as your eyes are free. Can you name that tune?

I don't think these lyrics are right because google isn't turning up the song, but it's kind of that vibe. Instead of "don't you lie to me" it could be something like "don't you hide from me". And, it could be something like "your cupboards are as bare as your eyes are free" or maybe something like "your spirit is as wide as your eyes are free."

Lyrics may also talk about a "bitter memory" or at least some kind of memory "and you're gone" and gone gets repeated in the line i think.

Sort of a Paul Cole type of sound, but I don't think it's her.

Never mind, I found it. It's "Too Bad" by Lilly Hiatt.

In the future, if you get on your phone and google "what's this song" and then tap the mic and sing into the mic, it does a pretty good job finding the right thing.
