How an I cast my chromebook to my roku?

I looked all over online and can't find anything conclusive. I tried using a screen mirroring app, they all sucked and wouldn't work well at all.
I really prefer roku and already have one so I don't want to buy a chromecast.
How can I cast my chromebook to roku ellegantly?
THanks!
In my experience if there is a phone app that doesn't block casting normally it's easy to cast to the Roku. I can cast YouTube without a problem. However, using screen mirroring to get around apps that block casting (looking at you MLB.com) has never worked for me.

You cannot screen mirror via casting to a Roku. Full stop. You'll need to buy a chromecast.
Activating the YouTube app on the Roku via the cast icon in Chrome isn't casting, confusingly. It's the DIAL support in the Roku YT app, a different protocol using the same UI.
That said, you may not love the quality of screen mirroring to a Chromecast either as it's dependent on the power of the sender's CPU and your local wifi conditions.

An HDMI cable is an alternative for screen mirroring, but it's definitely not a particularly elegant solution.
I was disappointed that my Roku couldn't do this too. Sigh.
