Hobby Horse Cottage?

This is probably a longshot. My SO has been talking about a childhood book called Hobby Horse Cottage by Ms. Read. There appears to be 1 copy of this book available anywhere at any time. We are looking for a digital version or better yet a gently read audio version of the book. Can you please help?

Sorry, I've come up empty on the digital/audio front (and having seen what the single copy findable through the likes of biblio.co.uk is going for, I see why that's not appealing). I was looking for a digital edition of a different Miss Read last week, with equally little success. She's clearly due for a comeback! (Any publishers on here in a position to take note?)

If you're in the UK, I did spot a single copy in the Hertfordshire library system, if that's of any interest: I'm not sure how interconnected the different county library systems are, but I found it via the Buckinghamshire library catalogue search, so perhaps you don't have to live in Hertfordshire to be able to borrow from there.

I couldn't find digital or audio versions either but there appear to be a number of libraries throughout the UK & Ireland and a couple in the US that have the print version.

Best answer: Brainfood Audiobooks has other works by Miss Read. Might be worth an email to them, just in case?
