Looking for very accurate medical documentaries or films. Help me uncover the gems of medical lore, legend and depiction of the beginning, underpinning, conspiracy or legacy - wherever they may be.
I am also not exactly sure what you mean -- do you have any examples of movies that would satisfy your criteria?

Best answer: Hopkins 24/7 was a great documentary filmed at Johns Hopkins Hospital (2000). But I am not sure also if this is what you mean, but it is well worth watching. Something the Lord Made is an HBO movie also filmed there about the pioneering of heart surgery and the role of an African American man who played a huge role in it.

Best answer: I don't know if this is helpful to you, but Wired magazine has a series of YouTube videos where a surgeon critiques depictions of emergency medicine and surgeries in movies and TV shows, making sure to spotlight when something is accurate or mostly accurate. Videos can be found here, here and here.

Response by poster: Thank you everyone. Sorry if the query was obscure. I think there's enough here to to keep me occupied for a while. Most obliged.
