Room design apps?

We are moving and I want to plan out where furniture will go before we move. I've traditionally done this with Excel and using shapes to represent furniture. But maybe there is an easy to use website for this that I don't know about?
I use floorplanner.com on the free tier. Sometimes you have to look up their help to figure out how to do something, but it's met my needs for this exact purpose as well as fantasizing about remodels.

My favorite one is this nice room planner on Slumberland Furniture's website. Reminds me of the old-internet, and very useful!

I use floorplanner.com. I think it only allows 1 room for free.

If you have free access to it, maybe on a work computer?, Visio is great for this. If you don't have free access to it, don't bother. It's ridiculously expensive.

I used the Live Home 3D apps for planning our basement build out.

My SO likes Google Sketch up.
pros: free, a lot of furniture models made by other users (including most Ikea brands)
cons: not that intuitive an interface, though if you've been modeling in Excel, you're probably good.

I'm moving soon and I've really liked Home Design 3D. I really like that you get a 3D view of the room -- it makes it much easier for me to visualize what it will look like.
It's $10-$20. I have their iPad app but they have Android and PC versions too.
