What's the Wordy Rappinghood chant

What's the little ditty sung in the background of Tom Tom Club's "Wordy Rappinghood"?

It's pretty similar to "A-Ram-Sam-Sam," a song that I associate with the Girl Scouts, but it's a little different. Is it just a variation with which I am not familiar?

Some of the words sound like they're from She'll Be Coming 'Round The Mountain.

This question is going to close soon so -
The TTC forum is cool because Tina and Chris actually participate.
I joined and posted the question but didn't get an answer from Tina or Chris. The most comprehensible answer was this (from a Karen Buhl):

I was at a concert and talked to Chris before the show
I said I couldn't figure out the words, and he said to just fake it and it would work
So I did!
Had a wonderful talk with them after the show
Tina is one of the sexiest girls in the world
I heard more than one guy in the audience say so
