Should I change my username?

I picked my username as something was not connected with me irl, but I'm becoming increasingly concerned that my use of "fat" is insensitive, particularly as I don't claim that characteristic for myself.
Although I visit metafilter daily, I am a very infrequent poster so closing this account would hardly be earth shattering. However! My account is 11 years old and longevity of one of the few internet currencies that matters, at least to me.
Is my username problematic for me to continue to use?
