I want to switch to using pressed powder eyeliners. Any recommendations?
I want something dark and vampy that lasts all day. Thanks!

I have this one, it is loose powder but easy to apply: Catrice Smokey Matt Powder Liner. I'd rate it 7/10. Worth a try, but looks like it is being discontinued, so pick up several if you get it.
The bestest all-day smokey, powdery eye I ever had was actual kohl powder I aquired in Morocco. I think there are ingredient issues with getting it in the U.S., but if you find some, the smouldering mystery of your glance can't be beat.

La Femme cake eyeliner works really well. It is easy to control the thickness of the line even with an angled brush and it doesn't smudge. The darkness of the eyeliner can be controlled with the wetness of the brush and the amount of eyeliner mixed onto the brush. I use the charcoal color with a drier brush for a subtle line but there are quite a few different colors that would work for a more vampy look.

There is a brush that works extremely well with it which is Nars #46. I've tried other brushes shaped just like it, but none provide the same ease and precision. It's a magic combo, I swear.
In case you are put off by the price: the amount of the shadow you get is very generous and the brush is made of non-porous nylon that looks new after every wash so both are actually cheap on a per-use basis.
