Photo Sharing without multiple accounts?
August 19, 2018 3:53 PM
Of all the cloud based photo sharing options (Flickr, Dropbox, Box, Google Photos, etc.) are there any in which an individual sets up an account and sends a share link to multiple others, where the others can upload photos without creating their own accounts on the site?
My mother-in-law will soon celebrate her 90th birthday and we want to collect digital photos for a slide show from many non-tech savvy family members. I can send them the link with basic uploading instructions in an email, but am hoping that they can just drag and drop their own photos to a shared folder on a cloud-based website. I do not want everyone to have to create their own accounts in order to share their photos.
Thanks!

Thanks stefnet! Trying that one out now. I was not aware of that option in Dropbox, but it looks like it should work well.

You’re welcome! I think it’s a fairly new feature. I’ve used it with no problems for work events!

Flickr will give you an email address that others can use.
