Is there such thing as a co-op Auto-Shop in Seattle?

Is there such thing as a co-op auto shop/garage in Seattle? I'd love to learn the basics of auto-repair, but the only classes I have found are full degree/certificate programs. Is there something more casual that an auto-ignoramus can access in Seattle? I'm not averse to travelling, but I'd prefer it to be in-city rather than the outlying areas. anybody?

This might be up your alley: Repair Revolution.

The Repair Revolution web-site doesn't show full classes (other than workshops). I might give that a try, but I'd love an ongoing class of some sort (but not as full-on as a degree program.)

I appreciate the feedback. Perhaps what I want doesn't really exist.
