Can anyone recommend an app for a dyslexic adult who has ADD and is trying to stay organized and on top of a lot of moving parts in different areas of his life?

Could you be more specific about what exactly you’re trying to manage?

I’m not dyslexic, but I have ADHD, and I have to say I find the Alexa/Echo system to be very handy. I use it most often to set timers and reminders, and to manage shopping and to-do lists. For example:

1. It’s Thursday night and I need to remind myself to get up early Monday morning for an early meeting. I can set a reminder to tell me at about 7pm Sunday evening.

2. I’m getting ready for work and I need to remember to check some stuff when I get into the office. I can set a reminder which then pops up a notification on my devices.

3. If I’m in the middle of something and I notice I need to pick something up at the store, I can just tell Alexa to add it to the specific store list. You can set up multiple custom lists, so I have one for Target, one for Costco, one for my local grocery store, etc.

4. I set timers for every goddamn thing ever. A timer for my face mask, a timer for boiling my pasta, a timer to tell me to take a medication at a certain time, a timer as used in the Pomodoro technique so that I alternate between work and breaks effectively.

And of course the home automation functions are useful for taking some tasks off my plate or making them easier to manage. I know there’s even more potential that I’m not using because I haven’t taken the time to explore new functions (like calendar integration). But it’s very useful to be able to set things with voice control, so that I don’t have to stop and make an entry or write a thing down, and it’s great that my lists sync so that I’m not forgetting my grocery list at home.

I should have been more clear, I'm asking on behalf of a friend. I will get answers and report back.
