Seeking an art and culture magazine in print
April 7, 2018 8:15 PM

I'd like to subscribe to a magazine about art and culture. Aesthetica is fantastic and ticks off all my boxes (below the fold), but it'd be nice to have something in print that comes once a month. Any suggestions?

I'd like a magazine that ...

• is widely respected in its field but accessible to the layperson
• discusses relevant social issues in context of the artist's work
• covers international themes
• features fine artists, photography, sculpture, etc.

Bonus points for one that covers music and performance art : )

Not monthly, but if I could afford to I'd buy it myself -

Check out Even magazine, published 3 times/year.

TOPOS: The international review of landscape architecture and urban design. Covers a lot of ground and strays well outside conventional landscape territory and satisfies your four bullet points. I think it's only four times a year but I treasure copies whenever I find them.
