Cars like the Wienermobile

I’m finally going to see the Wienermobile tomorrow! What are some other commercial cars shaped like the things they sell?

The Rickmobile sells little Rick figurines, among other things.

The Dunkin' Donuts coffee car seems to be a thing that exists in both small and large version.

...and while researching this, I stumbled upon a blog devoted to 'productmobiles' which has a lot of weird and disturbing stuff.

It's not commercial, but the official mascot of Purdue University is a train, and they have a road legal train built on a truck chassis.

I just wanted to pop in to say that the wiener mobile is really cool in person. The summer folks driving it around when I saw it at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago were really nice kids handing out small trinkets for the kids like wiener whistles. Having my kids with me was great cover for this over sized kid to marvel at what is essentially a huge hot dog car.

I love all of these, especially the bootmobile and banana car. I will never forget seeing the Weinermobile coming towards me in the opposite lane on a local road. At first it was "what's that, it does not look right" then recognizing it was the Weinermobile. I have no idea where it was going.

They aren't selling things (as far as I know), but this seems relevant: Someone who lives near Kalamazoo, MI has created a large banana car that makes appearances all summer. I was surprised and delighted to spot it in my church parking lot one Sunday morning a couple of years ago. But THIS sighting would have been an even better surprise.

Lincoln Towing in Seattle used to have the "Toe Truck", which was shaped like a big pink foot. They didn't sell feet so it's not quite in the shape of what they sell, but they did provide toe-ing services. It's in a local museum now.
