I'm looking for the quote from the beginning of May It Last.

At the beginning of May It Last: Portrait of the Avett Brothers, there is a quote about the importance of being present. It is attributed to their grandfather Clegg Avett. Perhaps you or someone you know scribbled it down. I have been unable to find it by other means.
Here's a good article about the Avetts and that movie, with interview stuff. Hope you enjoy it. May It Last

We are at this moment where we have never been before, and before I finish saying it, we have passed it and will never be there again. - Rev. Clegg W. Avett (1914-1976)
