Polytetrafluoroethylene is not a garnish

The tallish Bundt pan I have used to make farcement Savoyarde has become scrofulous, with peeling Teflon non-stick coating and I must replace it before Thanksgiving (US).

It is time I purchased a proper rabolire, and I cannot find either a replacement tallish Bundt pan or the real thing any longer: the Bundt pans I have seen are low, rounded and utterly unappealing. Has the hive any ideas for me? I am quite sure the central heat-transferring spike is necessary.

Try searching for tube pans or angel food cake pans instead of bundt pans. Bundt pans are a type of tube pan and will be on the shorter side.

I have even seen glass pans that fit this bill, they can be lined with parchment. I have a tall angel food cake pan, old aluminum style, parchment works for this. Once you make a pattern that fits the pan, then it is easy.

You should be able to get a rabolire off amazon.fr shipped to the US within the span of two months. There are a ton of French baking supply sites that carry them as well. If international payment/shipping is an issue, pastrychef.com has some angel food cake pans and charlotte molds that might work.

honestly though I needed to post a relevant comment so I could compliment you on the incredible intro sentence and word choice of "scrofulous", A+++++, thank you for making my evening

Whoa, that was quick! moonlight on vermont found exactly the right item, ordered from amazon.fr, and it will be here by 20 November. From the commentaire on amazon.fr: "Pas facile de trouver ce moule!" So thank you, there will be farcement this year.

... it will be here by 20 November.

I wouldn't bet the rent (or my Thanksgiving feast plans) on it.

Also +1 for scrofulous. :) I also like scabrous and pustulent.

Did your pan arrive in time?
