Looking for brown leather sneakers w/dark soles
August 15, 2017 9:03 AM

I'd like to buy a pair of men's brown leather sneakers, specifically with dark soles, along the lines of these shoes (but hopefully cheaper). Most brown leather sneakers I have found online, however, have light-colored soles. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Keen has a variety of men's brown leather sneakers with dark soles. They may be a touch less dressy than your example, but are a great shoe that cost way less.

I would look at Cole Haan's. They have a lot with white soles, but also a lot with darker soles. Also, they are extremely comfortable. Once and maybe still owned by Nike. The cost is a problem without a sale. Or, go to their outlet stores. Great prices there when the sales are happening.

I think I had the same Skechers that TheAdamist linked and liked them. I also had some Steve Maddens a long time ago (right before the Skechers, probably) that I remember liking.

So I am guessing what you want is running shoe comfort and traction but with dress shoe looks.

Cole Haan's GrandRevØlution are what you are looking for. GrandEvolution is the more sporty thicker soled version.

Caterpillar. Mine are brown but it's possible they're discontinued.

Ecco makes a very similar shoe, and might have others you like as well.
Geox does as well.
Steve Madden with cheaper options but not as close in style.
Ben Sherman Even cheaper!
Maybe High Tops?

OK I'll stop now. I love this game.

Really just the latter. I mean, the comfort is a bonus, but I just happen to like the looks of shoes like this. Thanks for all the ideas, everyone!
