Paging all internet sleuths: can you find this teddy bear's twin?
July 29, 2017 1:50 AM
Asking for a friend: their son lost his teddy bear, can you help us find an exact match?
These are the details I've been given:
- light grey
- nose and ears are darker (Grey of brown? I have asked and will update when I get an answer)
- eyes are thread, not buttons
- bought in Europe ca. 5-6 years ago?
- picture

It reminds me of a Nici Teddy Bear (link to Google image search).

This guy from the Happy Horse company looks pretty close.
If you're scanning the internet for a bear bought in Belgium, the term knuffelbeer could be helpful. It's the Dutch word for "teddy bear."

It does look like a Nici bear with different coloration -- face looks very similar to me.

Thank you all very much for your help!
I've looked at an infinite amount of grey teddy bears and specifically those from Gund, Happy horse and Nici.
amf and AppleTurnover, I thought the Nici suggestion was spot on! I enthusiastically relayed our results to the friend in question, but alas, apparently the shape of the snout is not quite right.
I've also received a better picture.
(Eyes appear to be beads, contrary to my previous statement.)

I'm in Belgium at the moment. I can go to the one good toy store in town tomorrow and see if I can find a twin of your bear. I can't promise anything, but it's worth a shot, I think.
