Can I eat it?

Supermarket roast chicken from Tuesday; it's been stored in a glass tupperware in the fridge in shredded form. Today is Friday. Google says 3-4 days for a cooked chicken. So we're on the edge. I rilly want to mix this in with some instant ramen noodles. Worth the risk?
It's been in the fridge the whole time? Hells yeah it's safe.

Yes. I don't think you're even on the edge - "good for 3-4 days" means days beyond the day you put it in the fridge. Wednesday = 1, Thursday = 2, Friday = 3.

I tend to be pretty conservative and would not hesitate to eat that chicken.

My household, which admittedly contains zero food scientists, wouldn't even come within a million miles of blinking before consuming this.

I did this last week. The chicken was bought on Friday evening and I ate the last of it on Monday evening. I was hesitant about it but I was fine, hopefully you will be too.

Presuming it was put in the fridge in a timely manner, 3 days is fine. If you're feeling paranoid just make sure you reheat it quickly to above 80°c and keep it there for a few minutes, but personally I'd be happy to eat it cold.

My husband would definitely eat this, but I would not.

I would smell it before I committed to eating it. If it smells ok, I would eat it. If it smells iffy, I would throw it out. (But honestly, in the fridge on Tuesday? I wouldn't've thought twice about it.)

Go ahead. I often eat supermarket rotisserie chicken that is 5-7 days old. Any time longer, then no.

Oh my, I've eaten rotisserie chicken from the fridge much older than this. I didn't even know there was a recommended time frame.

I'm VERY conservative about food safety and I would totally eat that! I wouldn't even blink. I'd probably feed it to my kid.

Go ahead it is good. I buy a Costco chicken, and expect it to last a week. But, it goes straight into the fridge when I get home. It stays in the fridge only to come out for slicing. I don't touch it with anything but a clean knife and fork to cut from it. I leave it in the pan it came in for cutting. I don't transfer it to a cutting board, unless it is the piece I have cut off.

I wouldn't fuck with raw chicken but cooked chicken lasts a lot longer than those food safety guidelines that say like 1-2 days for some reason. I've never had a problem or weird smells from 4-5 day cooked chicken.
