French-Filter. It is a tradition in my girlfriends family to write clues on Christmas gift tags with a little hint as to what is inside the wrapper. I'd like to write a clue in French for my GF who is trying to learn/keep up her french, and was wondering whether a me-fite could translate my clue from English to French for me? If so can you please email me at pparma(at)gmail.com
It's only a 10 word line of text, but I ask you to email me as my GF reads ask me-fi too and I don't want her catching on early!

Wow, I didn't know others did this. Since the question has already been answered, I guess there's no harm in asking do other families do this too??

Please don't use Ask Metafilter as a classified ad service.

majick: Limite votre comments à réponses ou à l'aide en trouvant une réponse, s'il vous plait. This is a fine use of Ask Metafilter.

Uhh. This is an extremely bad use of Ask Metafilter. What would be worse, though, is if it spawned a predictable-to-the-last-word metatalk thread. Which would be any metatalk thread it could spawn.

Not good to ask ANY question and request that answers be emailed to you. That totally goes against the grain of what AskMe is for.
It's a resource.
