Driving E from Rock Springs WY tomorrow: 80/25/70 or stay on 80 thru NE?

Thanks to answers to this previous question, I decided to take a direct route for my cross-country trip. And now I'm caught in a blizzard! Which is more likely to be passable tomorrow: Rock Springs WY to Burlington CO (my original plan) via 80/25/70, or Rock Springs to Ogallala NE (which maybe looks to me like it got less snow) by staying on 80, then dropping down to 70 around Lexington?
We tried to leave Rock Springs this morning only to be turned back, because 80 was closed all the way into Nebraska. It's supposedly opening back up tomorrow, but I know the Denver area got hit pretty hard too so I don't know if our original plan to drop down to 70 via 25 is the best route at this point. Maybe we should just stay on 80 longer?
Is anyone familiar with this area who can tell me which is the better bet? I cancelled our hotel reservation in Burlington and made one in Ogallala, but now I'm second-guessing myself. Advice please!

Can you wait until the afternoon to leave? It might be icy in the morning but, hopefully, should turn to slush in the afternoon.
