Praying for the Return of Tom and Ray

I have a 2008 Scion xB with a big dent in the rear bumper. I have somehow convinced myself that if only I removed the bumper, I could push out the dent. However, I am afraid of not being able to get the bumper back on. Aside from whether or not I could actually pound out the dent, how difficult is reinstalling a bumper?

This car has 160,000 miles and has been run into more times than I can count and when the time comes to replace it, I am going to give it to charity, so there is very little at stake in this exercise.

Thanks, as always for your help.
