Papers Please!

Where can I source those deliciously smooth Japanese papers?

I have specific quirks when it comes to notebooks and have been custom making my own with run of mill copier papers. I LOVE the papers in Japanese notebooks, particularly Apica CD and Maruman Mnemosyne notebooks. Is there a way to source these paper directly? In bulk if possible.

My google fu has been failing me. Thanks in advance!

I just purchased a ream of Kokuyo KB paper, which is thin, fountain pen friendly, and and awesome for notebook making (since it's A4 size). I really like it so far - no bleed through, minimal ghosting, no feathering at all.

On the pricier side, you can purchase the crazy fountain pen friendly, thin but awesome Tomoe River paper in 100-sheet packs from several pen suppliers and/or amazon.

Jetpens.com. Best site for Japanese pens, papers, office supplies, etc.
