Hiring manager emails me back about a "possible position".

I had a job interview four weeks ago for an administrative assistant position within the University of CA Health System that I've been yearning to get into for the past 10 months.

The job interview went very well, as I developed an instant rapport with the manager when we both found out that we went to the same community college, graduated the same year in high school, and her brother-in-law lives on the same street that I do. Most importantly, she was impressed with my resume to the point that I didn't need to really sell my skills. She flat-out said that I had the experience and knowledge for the job. After the interview, she mentioned that she would keep in touch the following week. Towards the end of the second week, I didn't hear from her thus I sent a follow-up email. She replied immediately, and told me that she had no current updates at that time. 3 weeks & counting went by, and I eventually did my best to move on without holding out anymore hope. Lo and behold, I got a surprising email this past Friday from the manager an hour before 5pm. She mentioned in the email that "she would give me a call on Monday or Tuesday in regards to a possible position". Me and my girlfriend have been trying to figure out what she meant by that message. I hope that she is not going to call just to inform me that the position has been filled & that I'd be recommended for another position at another location down the road. Any feedback on the matter would be appreciated.
