I'm doing a show and will be projecting images on myself, and to save finding an hour of photos I'd like to find a screensaveresque program that does interesting shifting colour planes. Any thoughts? Ios or android ok, pc best.

Depending on your needs and knowledge, you could fork this CodePen and tweak to your desires.

If you'll have an internet connection, this Robot Rothko project from the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum might work well. It Generates Mark Rothko like images from the colors of things in the museum collection. (There's more info on the project on their blog.)

Best answer: You could just use a standard photo screensaver and have the projector be very out of focus.

Android has a built in feature called "daydream" (essentially a screen saver) that will cycle the screen through colours.

Best answer: It's a bit after the fact, but I recently found http://ambient.website, which seems to do what you need
