Is there any way to recharge electrostatic vinyl cling decals? You know, the kind that stick to glass without adhesive.

Wash them in hot soapy water, rinse well, dry. Should put some life back in them.

without having tried it, i suspect that rubbing it with some fur (or against your hair) should charge it up, just like the ol' balloon-on-the-wall trick.

We used to just lick them and stick them. Now that I think about that, I feel a little sick. A damp sponge would probably work just as well.
