Is there any way to recharge electrostatic vinyl cling decals? You know, the kind that stick to glass without adhesive. posted by jjg to science & nature (4 comments total)

without having tried it, i suspect that rubbing it with some fur (or against your hair) should charge it up, just like the ol' balloon-on-the-wall trick. posted by sergeant sandwich at 10:34 AM on December 5, 2005
We used to just lick them and stick them. Now that I think about that, I feel a little sick. A damp sponge would probably work just as well. posted by blackkar at 11:37 AM on December 5, 2005
