Wasting a question on soda pop: Snapple Soda "Raspberry Royale"?

I have an amazing memory of a delicious bottled beverage from the 90s but have never been able to verify it's existence. It was Snapple brand but it was carbonated, came in a glass bottle but with a plastic screwtop you'd find a plastic soda bottle. The flavor was raspberry, I think technically "Raspberry Royale," and it was deep magenta. Anyone else remember this or did I dream it all up?

Best answer: Looks like it was "raspberry royal", not royale. It was in a line of Snapple Sodas that debuted in 1983. I can't find a picture of that one, but they were apparently "all natural" and most of them were clear, so the soda itself likely wasn't magenta, though the labeling may have been. This article confirms your memory of the glass bottles with the plastic caps.

It wasn't a Jones Soda?

Best answer: Yes! The Snapple raspberry soda was my favorite! I was so bummed when it was discontinued. I don't remember the official name, but I can confirm that it did exist. I drank one at every shift at my convenience store job in college. I thought the color was a magenta/pink. But I could be remembering wrong.

I would start drinking soda again if it ever came back.

Response by poster: Yay! Well at least I didn't completely make it up.
