ISO: a font of a passed era

Given the plethora of handwriting fonts online, I'd like to find a one that has the same feel as library hand. I'm aware of the Nathan Hauenstei font but am interested in other possibilities. Any suggestions?

Best answer: Zaner Bloser is simple, but it does have a slant.

I've never done this myself, but apparently it's not that hard to make a font. Various websites have set-ups where you can just plug in the letters you want, and then download it as a working font. You could do that with Library Hand, so you'd be using the genuine article instead of something similar.

Best answer: You could look through the scripts > school subcategory on dafont.com. It's here and has some fonts that are close, if not exactly what you want.
