More writing like what's on Wait But Why

I really enjoy the irreverent yet insightful way deep philosophical issues are explored on Wait But Why. Any other sites or books I should check out?
The author of the site waitbutwhy.com, Tim Urban uses cartoons and humor to explore some very deep philosophical issues. I want to find more sites or books that deal with weighty issues in a similarly irreverent yet insightful way.
Thanks!

EmpressCallipygos, I looked at xkcd.com and agree that Urban is copying Randall Monroe to some extent.
My focus is more on finding more writing similar to what Urban does on Wait But Why.

I admit that I maybe muddied my answer and apologize; but ultimately my point was that if you're looking for that kind of writing, Randall Monroe would certainly qualify. It's about science, but it achieves the kind of "serious topics in a lighthearted fashion" goal you're looking for.

Hyperbole and a half! I'm not sure how often it's updated, though.
