Restaurants between Astor Place and TriBeCa?
December 8, 2014 11:48 AM
One friend works in Tribeca. The other in Astor Place. They'd like to find a quiet, not terribly expensive place in the middle-ish for food and chatting.
I've lived in the city for years, but I'm so tired today that I just can't seem to figure it out! And I go on Maps only to be paralyzed by choice.
Hopes and dreams:
* Meals under $20
* Not crowded or loud
* Wine/cocktail list is nice, but not required

Cafe El Portal (may or may not be busy at any given time, but it's small, so not loud)
Las Ramblas (also small)
Anywhere in Chinatown
