Good maps of this Sunday's NYC Marathon?

The organizers of this Sunday's NYC Marathon have a pretty shitty map; is there a better one available? I'm hoping for something overlaid on Google Maps or some such equivalent. Bonus question: how do I gauge what time the elite runners would be running by a given spot?

To be honest, that map is GREAT in terms of where you need to be. Can you be more specific about what you're looking for?

Also, there are very, very few spectators on the course while the elites are running. You don't need to worry about a good spot.

This site has a google map of the course and some recs for where to watch. I also found this other google map of the course from 2013.

The men's start time is 9:40am. The winner last year ran it in 2:08.24. So that's about 12.258 miles per hour. So say you want to see them at the 8 mile marker, it should take them about 39 minutes and 9 seconds, so be at the 8 mile marker at 10:15am or so to give yourself a little wiggle room. Plug in different mile markers at the link to figure out where you want to be!

Awesome, thanks!

Funny, I was just lamenting this! Here's the earlier version of the course map, with the cross streets included. I find it way more helpful than the new one.
