Can bald, (slightly) overweight men ever be considered attractive?

It is largely forgotten how pressured men are made to feel to look a certain way--whether it is the weight, the clothes, the hair, or pretty much anything else to do with the looks department. So girls, are there any famous male celebrities who are bald(ing) and a few pounds extra who you think are handsome and genuinely attractive? Give us the confidence boost we need!

Even if a man has a handsome face and a great personality, if he is bald or balding, is a few pounds extra, and has body hair (even if it's a little on the back), he is made to feel like an unattractive, horrific slob. There are countless campaigns that seek to empower women and encourage them to embrace their natural bodies by fighting the ultra-slim model-look that fashion magazines constantly promote. This doesn't seem to exist for men, probably because our society is viewed as patriarchal and chauvinistic and men aren't the victims, so they don't matter. Anyway to avoid turning this into one of those arguments, I want to ask all the women here: Do you know any bald, overweight men who you think are attractive (preferably celebrities)? Like "I prefer him to a usual stereotypical Calvin-Klein model type attractive" type? Explain.

This post was deleted for the following reason: This is kind of loosely goosed and chatty for Ask Mefi. -- cortex

Louis CK. is a big turn on. He is bald and overweight but very attractive.

When he doesn't have a beard, I think Paul Giamatti's good looking. Maybe I just like his roles. But sexy and physically attractive are only marginally aligned for most women, it seems to me. It's definitely true for me.

Honestly, it doesn't matter what you look like, but being *insecure* is a huge turnoff. You will find at least one person who finds you attractive, you just have to be confident and comfortable in your skin. You're bald? Own it! You're overweight? Exercise! Live your life and stop staring at a mirror. Beauty is only skin deep and in the eye of the beholder. Eventually EVERYONE will be at an age where they're ALL overweight/balding/unattractive etc. If we're lucky to live that long.

Well, society is patriarchal and chauvinistic, and it turns out that the patriarchy hurts men too.

James Gandolfini. Dean Norris (hubba hubba).

I think they're both handsome, and they've got that strong, capable thing going on.

It helps if you don't refer to women as girls, unless they are truly in fact, girls. Any female person over the age of 18 is a woman.*

*(unless they don't identify as such or queer/trans, etc. of course)

What makes guys attractive is how kind and genuinely caring they are. Women crush on celebs hoping that they aren't douchebags, and once one of them does something douchey (like cheating on a pregnant wife or holding sex parties or being John Mayer), a lot of women find their lust/crush disappear.

Become a genuinely good, empathetic and caring person/potential partner and no baldness or slight weight problem can hinder a guy.

I can give a long list of "hot celebs" I can't crush on because they have awful personalities. I'd probably crush on Alec Baldwin if he didn't have anger management problems and was a sweeter, calmer guy.
