Who does Mario Draghi remind me of?

Every time I see a picture of ECB president Mario Draghi in the newspaper, I feel a small flicker of recognition. It's starting to drive me bananas. Who does he look like? Google image link here.
In a lot of those pictures, he has a half-smirk that immediately makes me think of Dick Cheney.

He's a blend of Bob Saget, David Strathairn and Kevin Pollack.

For me it's Bob Saget. A little of Kevin Spacey, but that's really just because I'm watching House of Cards right now so he's on my mind.

Something about him reminds me of Leon Panetta.

My first thought was David Strathairn too.

He gives me the vibe of a Simpsons character in real life.

He looks a bit like Mulder's higher-up deep throat friend in the X-Files.

I immediately thought of a mustacheless William Daniels.

Nobody has ever seen Mario Draghi in the same room as Walter Matthau.

Seconding Leon Panetta.

His general facial shape, the line of his mouth, the no lips, all remind me just a little bit of Roger Ebert. I do see a lot of the others mentioned here, too.

Jean Claude van Damme. A little.
Yeah, after having google image searched him for shots of his face from other perspectives, I agree with this. He's like JCVD with 15 more pounds and years.

Looks like a mixture of Rowan Atkinson and Peter Sellers.

Gary Sinise could at least play him in the movie version (a thriller).

Response by poster: I never in a million years would have thought of Dick Cheney, but that's by far the closest suggestion to what's pinging me in Draghi. Cheney doesn't really look like him that much, but he has a very similar sort of sly, lizardlike expression. Draghi is more genial or avuncular though.
The hairline and baggy eyes (with glasses?) feel like the other biggest point of familiarity to me, which is what I think the answers so far are missing. (I thought Gary Sinise would be a closer match until I actually looked him up). I almost feel like there might be a more historical figure involved?
Sorry if this is too vague -- it might just be features from different people that have jammed together in my brain.

I clicked on your Google Image Link and immediately thought Mario Draghi looked like someone who could pass for Stephen Colbert's (imagined in my mind) father. This is the first time I have heard of or seen Mr. Draghi, and that was my initial reaction. However, when I looked at the Wiikipedia link the resemblance was not there as strongly.

The picture you linked said Michel Platini to me, but that's no so apparent in many of the pictures in Draghi's google image results.
The baggy eyes are suggesting someone I can't figure out either. (I think it's someone European. Thinking it was some kind of sports official was what got me to Platini. It's not Blatter.)
With someone having said it, I do see the resemblance to John Boehner.
