shortterm apartment rental in paris

Has anyone ever tried ParisianHome or another rental place in Paris?
I'm going for a week next month, and it'd be nice to have a homebase that's not a hotel room (and that place has lots of cheaper options.)

These people have provided me with 3 of the best vacation experiences ever already and I'm staying with them again shortly. They are also comparitively cheap and take your credit card details rather than a large cash deposit. English speaking and on hand during your entire stay to help you with anything, and the apartments are immaculate. Not an agency or a large operation, it's all very personal.
I originally chose them because they were the only rental site with real (emails provided) dated testimonies I could find, which amount to page upon page of glowing reports. Only downside is that they are very popular and don't have a lot of properties. If you can find availability you won't regret staying with them! Enjoy your trip.

I live in Paris and am out of town almost every week next month on business. Maybe we could work something out? I have a one-bedroom by République. If you're interested, email is in my profile.

I've used Paris Vacation Apartments like fire&wings too. They're superb. We stayed on Rue Lepic in an apartment in the back of the Moulin Rouge. Fantastic location, great service, absolutely recommend them.

Ack. I loved this apartment last year. If you're vegetarian (in France? gasp!) or gay, the Marais is great.
An apartment in Paris (warning: godawful web design). Rue Aubriot. 390 euros a week. Small, but I think it's a great deal, especially if you're not going to spend a lot of time in the apartment (did I mention it's small?).

On the high end, Time and Place rents drop-dead gorgeous apartments on the West Bank. They have all been furnished by a decorator. Rental includes pickup at the airport, use of a local cell phone, and the services of a concierge. No, it's not cheap. But is it good? I for sure found it to be great!
The company rents vacation apartments in Paris, and vacation homes in other tony vacation spots.

I guess it stands to reason that mileage is going to vary with these places, and I'm not sure how consistent the quality is with these agencies, but I've also rented (domestically) through VRBO and been happy.
My inlaws travel in Europe often on business and they swear by rental agencies like this--I don't know that they've used this one specifically, but I've certainly bookmarked it for future reference.
(and off topic, but I thought you might like to know that kid #2 is signing like crazy. Thanks for that)
