Japanese term for leverage

What it the correct term for "leverage" in Japanese? (Financial leverage, or the figurative meaning of leverage" Please give me spelling in roman characters.

Well, "leverage" has definitely entered Japanese from English as a loanword. Spelled "レバレッジ" in Japanese; that's just a phonetic spelling of the English word, so in Latin characters it would just be plain old "leverage". Here's the Japanese Wikipedia page on the concept.
