Best restaurant in Myrtle Beach, SC?
What are your favorite restaurants in Myrtle Beach, SC?
No price or dietary restrictions. We are a family of five (with no small children) and we need to find somewhere to eat dinner both tomorrow and Saturday/Christmas Eve. Bonus points for somewhere that serves excellent seafood.

North or South? In North Myrtle, we love Hoskins on Main Street. If you want to drive a little ways (15 minutes, probably), Crab Catcher's in Little River is excellent. If you're looking for something on the formal side, I'd avoid them, but these restaurants have the best seafood in our experience. You would need a reservation for Hoskins if you're aiming for 5-8 o'clock.

Stay the hell away from any calabash seafood places. Trust me on this. Really, really, really trust me on this.
There's this one hole-in-the-wall seafood place in this semi-deserted strip mall that's been around forever, but I don't remember what it's called, and Google is SEO'd up too much for me to remember. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

is the mystery strip mall seafood place Bimini Oyster Bar? It has been awhile since we were there, but we had a great time at that hole in the wall. It is by no means a fancy place, so if you are looking for a nice Christmas eve dinner, this ain't it. Fun buckets of seafood place though.

The Divine Dining Group is a series of locally owned restaurants that are quite good. In particular Bovine's (meat/wood fired pizza) and Divine's (seafood) are quite good. On the casual side of things, their River City restaurant is a burger and throw peanut shells on the floor kind of place.
With that said, I have no idea which if any of these places is open during the off season.

Go to Toffino's for dessert if you like cannoli (owners are NJ transplants).
