What Does "the Internet" Love?

What Does "the Internet" Love? It seems that Internet popular culture -- or at least a noticeable percentage of popular bloggers -- have embraced many of the same real world products and practices, including standing desks, Scansnap scanners, Getting Things Done, Macs, Sodastream soda makers, text files, DIY, drinking tea, the paleo/slow carb diet, cord cutting (i.e., cancelling cable), etc. What other products or practices could be added to such a list?

This post was deleted for the following reason: Without something a lot more concrete as criteria or purpose here than "name some things people on the internet have liked", this is really basically chatfilter. -- cortex

This might as well be another "what do hipsters like" question, since all the answers you're going to get are things that are trendy. It's 2011. Everyone who is "with it" is active online.

Also, owling. Used to be planking, but apparently now it's owling.

Your list sounds more like "What do Mefites love?" rather than "The Internet" in general. Also, chatfilter.

This might be more productively framed as "what do white, urban 20 and 30-somethings enjoy."

"The Internet" is a gigantic, diverse, international body of individuals who like all kinds of things.
