Google is evil. What are good/Good alternatives to its myriad services?
(... alternatives that are not Microsoft or Yahoo?)

Just to be clear, that policy only applies to Google Profiles / Google +.
Gmail, YouTube, search etc are all unaffected.
Now, if you want to switch because that policy on Profiles/Plus offends you, no problem, just want to make sure the scope of it is clear.

I, too, am puzzled by this question, which seems more like an excuse for an inaccurate political statement than a real question. The pseudonym policy applies only to Google+, as noted. If you want a similar social networking service that doesn't have such a policy, Myspace is probably your best bet. (Facebook also appears to have a similar policy.)
