How to watch my dog at home when I'm at work?

Is there a good iphone app that will allow me to use my Mac's built in camera (or multiple Macs cameras) to monitor my home? I need an app that will record both audio and video (and save them to my computer) not just play sound when I am monitoring it through my phone.
We're looking for an app that will allow us to see and check in on our dog. Our neighbor has complained that she barks (she doesn't) so we want to have a record of her silence. We have been using the iCam app, but it does not record sound, only plays sounds when you're watching the live stream. We'd like to be able to watch a live stream, but still able to access recorded archives. We're not opposed to installing a separate program on our computers. Free is better, but cheap is okay too.
